Intown Atlantans love their dogs!  We are lucky to have so many great greenspaces and parks around town.  Last Memorial Day - Gus had the pleasure of a morning at Loring Heights Dog Park a/k/a the urban beach.  Gus was there with his golden retriever friend, Buffy.   It's a great spot where dogs,  who meet the criteria (non aggressive and should be altered),  can enter and play off leash.   There are two different areas so if you have a smaller dog there is a separate play area.   Gus and his friends play on the bigger dog side.  Newer facility and hopefully the trees will fill in and offer some shade.  The ground is mostly crushed gravel - annoying if you are wearing sandles but just fine for your canine friend.  The gravel is great for upkeep - less dirt which just becomes mud after a rain.  If you have ever been to a dog park after a rain - you will know why the mud is a major "ARG" from the dog owner and a lot of fun for the dog.   Loring Heights is a great neighborhood.  It is nestled between Peachtree Road and Northside - bordered by I-75 and the I-85/I-75 exchange.  There are about 300 homes and there is a variety of price options if you are looking to buy.  There are some terrific parks and green spots for people and beast to share alike.  And now Loring Heights Neighborhood boasts its very own dog park.   Leash Laws - City of Atlanta  Homes for Sale Loring Heights

Morningside is located in the northeast area of Atlanta – from Piedmont Road east to Briarcliff Road and from Amsterdam Avenue north to the rail line.   Johnson Estates, Lenox Park, University Park, & Noble Park are within the Morningside Neighborhood boundaries. Development in Morningside began in 1923.  By 1925 development on North Highland added shops to the area (now in the building where Rosebud Restaurant  is located).   Morningside Elementary  opened in 1929.  Johnson Estates & Hylan Park began development in 1930.  Atlanta architects Ivey and Crook designed homes in Lenox Park which began development in 1931. United Way Shoebox Project

United Way's Shoebox Project.  Comfort for Atlanta's Homeless.

Bring hope for change by filling an empty shoebox or two with some items of necessity for Atlanta's men, women & children.     Click here to find out what is NEEDED in the shoeboxes.    I will be collecting shoeboxes for United Way's Shoebox Project through May 8th.  Contact me to find out how you can help/donate.   I will pick up from you or arrange for drop off. NEEDED:   empty shoeboxes (all sizes are welcomed!) along with toiletries, socks & childrens items to put in the shoeboxes to aid our homeless.     Please visit this site to find out what can/cannot be included in the boxes.     Empty shoeboxes or any unopened toiletries are welcomed!    You are welcome to decorate the exterior of the boxes but the boxes CANNOT be sealed shut - must be able to look inside at the contents of each shoebox.

Atlanta Sellers – Buy Owner Looking for a Buyer
