Grant Park middle class and upper middle class residents began moving into Grant Park homes in the 1890’s. Many of the homes are craftsman bungalows and American Four-squares on shallow lots but you will also find some Victorian homes along with new construction homes. The neighborhood is home to residences, shopping, restaurants, Grant Park, historic Oakland Cemetery, Zoo Atlanta, and Cyclorama. Click here for more information on Grant Park.

Cabbagetown

Cabbagetown is located next to downtown Atlanta and was a mill town developed around the Fulton Cotton and Bag Mill, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1976. Cabbagetown, like most mill towns, features narrow streets and short blocks. Workers of the mill lived in Cabbagetown until the mill closed in 1977. The neighborhood has homes from the 1890’s and features Victorian bungalows, shotguns as well as newer construction homes. On Carroll Street - you will find shops & restuarants.
