Cabbagetown is located next to downtown Atlanta and was a mill town developed around the Fulton Cotton and Bag Mill, listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places in 1976. Cabbagetown, like most mill towns, features narrow streets and short blocks. Workers of the mill lived in Cabbagetown until the mill closed in 1977. The neighborhood has homes from the 1890’s and features Victorian bungalows, shotguns as well as newer construction homes. On Carroll Street – you will find shops & restuarants. Next to Cabbagetown is Oakland Cemetary. Click here for more inofrmation on Cabbagetown.
