Inman Park located in Atlanta, GA is just 2 miles east of downtown Atlanta. Inman Park is Atlanta’s first suburb & one of the Nation’s first garden suburbs. The neighborhood was developed in 1880’s by Joel Hurt who believed people should live in a country-like setting but still close to the business district. He insisted on large lots, curving streets, and parks throughout the neighborhood. With his help, the residences were connected to the 5 Points business district via a trolley system.
